Sharing the PPD SpeakEasy

Calling on all PPD ass-kickers, advocates, and bloggers:

Please help inform mamas around the web about this support option.
If you are not familiar with the speakeasy, click here. Check it out, and then come back here to help me with the sharing.
As you well know, connecting with other moms, especially those who have been thought these struggles first hand, can save lives. Literally.

So, if you have a ppd resource page, please consider adding this to your list of available support options:

The PPD SpeakEasy: A free support phone chat, at 8:30pm EST every 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Connect with mothers from near and far, because it’s easier to feel better when we share what’s hard.
Hosted by Yael Saar of www.ppdtojoy.com

And here is a handy dandy button, for the visual folks:

SpeakEasy

Make sure to let me know if you put this on your site, so I can link back to you !

While the  phone chat is currently offered monthly, I hope to offer this free support option on a weekly basis some day. To do this sustainably, I would need co-hosts. My goal is to have the chat not just in the evenings, but at varying times of day, so moms in other time-zones can join as well. If you would like to participate as a co-host, I will train you and guide you and love you forever… So talk to me, OK?  Comment here or Email me (ppdtojoy at gmail dot com) or DM me on twitter. I’m @yaelsaar

Much gratitude.

Breaking News:
To celebrate my 40th birthday (which is the also first anniversary of this website), there will be three (3!) SpeakEasy calls in September.
Mark your calendar: in addition to the usual 2nd Tuesday evening call (Sept.13 at 8:30 pm) we will have extra chats on Sunday September 18 at 2:00pm, and Tuesday September 27 at noon (all times are Eastern). The intention is to cater to the needs of mothers with varying lifestyles and time-zones. So if you’ve always wanted to join in, hopefully these added dates and times will help this happen. I can’t wait to hear your voice.

I added your speakeasy button to my blog. Some day I hope to earn my “I Survived Postpartum Depression” button.

Thank you for sharing this resource. Your blog is so sweet!
And yes, you will progress to the “I Survived Postpartum Depression”, and yes, the wait is so hard.
Hugs, and I can’t wait to hear your voice on the call.
