This is an invitation to join our Postpartum Depression to Joy Speakeasy teleclasses.
The first one was on Tuesday November 9th, at 8:30pm. And these repeat, every second Tuesday of the month at the same time, 8:30pm, because that’s when both my kids are (supposed to be) asleep, so it’s the best time for me, I do hope it is also good for you.
The class is free (some phone bill charges may apply, depending on your long-distance telephone plan). If you want to participate, you need to sign up to our mailing list, on the upper right corner of this page)
The calls are recorded, so if you can’t join us at the time of the call, signing up will get you access to the replay.
Because we record the calls, I suggest you make up your mind about how you would like to identify yourself. You don’t have to say your full name, or your real name for that matter (an opportunity to call yourself whatever glamorous name you’ve always wished your parents were cool enough to choose). And if you’d rather just listen, that’s great too.
You don’t have to say anything at all in order to benefit from joining us.
By the way, I highly recommend not keeping PPD a secret, I only began to get better after I started talking about it, but that might not be where you are right now, so whatever feels right is perfectly fine.
Feel free to forward this to any and all who might benefit.
If you really want to attend live, but the time is bad for you, would you please comment below and let me know what time/day would work better for you? I can’t promise to accommodate, but if you don’t tell me, how will I ever know? Information is good.
Much love,
Yael.

Thank you for putting this conference call together, Yael! It was so nice to be able to hear other voices and talk about my continuing struggle from the comfort of my own home. Being with a baby the days are seem never-ending. I find myself craving adult interaction but some days it’s just too difficult to get myself together enough to meet in person. This type of call is a wonderful way to help combat the feelings of loneliness and isolation that I’ve been experiencing. What a wonderful idea. I hope the calls continue!
So glad the call helped! These calls will continue, on the second Tuesday of each and every month, this is just too good to stop. The next one is on Dec. 14th. Hugs.
