Ithaca Support Group meets this Thursday

Hi there. This is not really a blog post. It’s just a reminder.

The Ithaca, NY April PPD support group will meet on Thursday April 5 at 12:30pm — 1:30pm.
(The change of date is because of an event at the Women’s Opportunity Center, and it’s just for this month.) 

Meeting info:
Struggling while mothering? You are not alone.
If you feel overwhelmed by motherhood, or get that “I’m a bad mom” feeling, please join us in this safe space for sharing, sisterhood, and learning new coping skills for handling guilt, worry, anxiety, sleep deprivation, postpartum blues, or postpartum depression. These meeting are free and open to all mothersno matter how old the kids are.  Whether you have been diagnosed with a condition or just having a hard time, breaking the isolation and getting social support can bring much comfort. If you are shy: please note that no one is ever required to talk. You are welcome to come and just listen.  Babies and toddlers welcome. Feel free to bring your lunch with you. Try RSVP via email to ppdtojoy at gmail dot com, but feel free to join us even if you didn’t RSVP.

New location: The ,   located at 315 North Tioga Street, between Buffalo Street and Court street.  Confusion alert:  Making any mistakes in spelling and grammar.this is NOT the Women’s Community Building   on the corner of Cayuga and Seneca, rather the women’s Opportunity Center is across the street from the downtown branch of HSBC on Tioga Street.
